You should have sent a PM to an admin for this. Anyway, no, you will not become a mod just for getting 1200 posts. An admin has to make you a mod.

I think is not working that way, you need a sense of community, caring and responsiveness in your assigned forum(s). This can be done easily by getting involved in discussions, responding to posts (especially those no one else responds to), and offering your support. is a good idea to visit this forum regularly to keep updated with changes in the forums. Be fair in your decisions and avoid things like abusive posts, unauthorized Spam or advertisements, copyright infringements, any sort of harassment, and any other violations of the forums.
